WAITING GAME (proposal) 2005

Waiting Game, a Finalist’s Proposal for Denver’s RTD, is a light show for those times when commuters wait for their train while trains moving the other way come and go.  Before the train going the “wrong” way arrives, panels of various colors of reflective sheeting mounted to the station columns catch the ambient light.  As it pulls in, hidden colored lights beam onto the sheeting and create many hues and blends of glowing, pulsating light to create delightful entertainment in place of frustration.
